When space is allocated for food courts, cafeterias, shopping areas, lack of provision for toilets seems inexplainable. <br /><br />Speaking to Deccan Herald, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) Chief PRO B L Y Chavan said “There will be no toilets inside the stations, however, we shall make provision for the same outside the stations.”<br /><br />Further, if Reach-1 of the Metro project meets its deadline, then BMRCL will have eight trains operating with three cars each and with an approximate carrying capacity of over 950 passengers.<br /><br />He said that Metro would take 14 minutes to travel a distance of 7 km between Byappanahalli and Chinnaswamy Stadium.
