<p>This is Shunglu’s first meeting with Manmohan Singh after the Prime Minister constituted the high-level committee on October 15 to look into the allegations of irregularities related to the mega-sporting event. <br /><br />Terms of reference<br /><br />During the meeting, the nitty-gritty of the terms of reference for the Shunglu committee and possible members of his team were also finalised.<br /><br />The committee will submit its report to the prime minister within three months.<br />Besides Shunglu, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister T K A Nair and Cabinet Secretary K M Chandrasekhar were also present during the meeting.<br /><br />Earlier in the day, Shunglu, who arrived here on Friday, met Nair and discussed the modalities for the probe. <br /><br />The terms and references are likely to be announced by early next week.<br />Shunglu had on Friday said the probe was aimed at arriving “right conclusions”.<br />The Central Vigilance Commission, which has already started its inquiry will submit its report to the Shunglu committee.<br /><br /></p>
