Cultural troupes at Hiremagalur

The troupes that were landed up in Chikmagalur to take part in the cultural fest jointly organised by district administration and Nehru Youth Centre, led a huge colourful procession with more than 20 folk teams displaying their art forms including Dollu Kunitha, Bharatha Natya, Nasik Dol and Kolata.

The procession that began in Ambedkar Circle drew the attention of a large crowd who enthusiastically watched the cultural extravaganza.  

Navachethana Youth Association President Revanath and others informed the artists about the significance of Heermangalur temple. District Youth Co-ordinator Shiv Kumar Achala, temple priest Keshav, M N Manjunath Rao from Nehru Youth Centre, Preethi Nagaraj were present.
