Parthasarathy's ticket No-3045 in Series 03 made him richer by two million dollars, a part of the Dubai Duty Free's Double Millionaire promotion.
"I am very excited to have finally won in one of Dubai Duty Free's promotions. It's been seven years since I purchased my first ever ticket and I never lost hope to become a winner," he said.
The 43-year-old father of two, who won the third prize in the draw, runs a gas refilling station in Chennai.
He is now looking forward to visiting Dubai with his family to receive the cheque for USD 2 million, a statement from Dubai Duty Free said.
