20-year-old Roshni was in love with Mohammed Tishik (30) but her family members were opposed to their relationship. They killed Mohammed with a blunt object before setting Roshni ablaze on November 10, they said.
The girl succumbed to her burn injuries in the district hospital yesterday, they said.
The body of Mohammed was also recovered from Roshini's house, they said.
A case has been registered against the family members of the girl, including her father Guru Charan Singh, under various sections of the IPC.
Out of the seven accused in this connection, four are at large.
