<p>Amrin Bhanu (23), wife of Mohammed Nasiruddin of Udayagiri, had succumbed to burns she suffered in a mishap on November 14, at a hospital on Friday night. <br /><br />In her dying statement to the tahsildar earlier, she had accused her husband of setting her ablaze. Subsequently, Nasiruddin was arrested by the cops. <br /><br />Cops said differences erupted between the couple a year after their marriage two years ago. <br /><br />Bhanu had lodged a complaint against her husband at Women’s Police Station. <br /><br />A chargesheet had been submitted to the court, when Bhanu turned hostile and stated they had reconciled. <br /><br />Considering her request, the court had kept the case under observation for six months. Since then, they were living separately in Rajivnagar.<br /><br />Bhanu’s relatives who were seething over her untimely death barged into the residence of Bhanu’s mother-in-law Farkunda Khanum at KEB Colony in Udayagiri, after breaking open the door on Saturday afternoon. <br /><br />They damaged furniture and electronic gadgets and ransacked the almirah. <br />Had not the police arrived on time, the situation would have gone bad to worse, said a local. Nasiruddin’s brother Tajuddin has lodged a complaint in this regard.</p>
