He was speaking at an awareness programme organised by the Association of construction and workers of unorganised sector in Gavenahalli, Hassan Taluk.
He said for want of awareness, the workers have failed to make use of the development schemes launched by the government for the unorganised sector.
Srinivas urged the government to improve the working condition of those workers.
Association president M R Yogesh, secretary Khalandar Koyla, villagers Rangegowda, Suresh Shivanand were present.
