Training imparted to teachers to teach in English

About 750 Resource Persons who have already undergone training would train these teachers, he told the press here.

The training programme was taken up with the help of UNICEF and British Council, he said.
The government has decided to distribute two pairs of uniforms to poor school children from the next academic year benefitting about 60 lakh students at a cost of Rs 70 crore.
Hitherto the government provided only a pair of uniform, he said.

Steps are being taken to improve job oriented courses in polytechnics and ITIs he said.
