Adesh Titarware, posted as Danapur Sub Divisional Officer (SDO), was returning to Patna with his wife in the AC 2-tier. At Bihta station, some 60 km from the state capital, a suspended police officer Arvind Kumar, along with one of his colleagues, entered the compartment and forcibly occupied the berth (No 5, 6) allotted to the IAS officer. 

Throwing their weight around, the ticketless police men not only passed snide remarks about the Maharashtra couple but also misbehaved with the wife of the IAS officer.

Taking umbrage over their indecent act, the bodyguard of the IAS officer protested. Taking undue advantage of his “khakhi” uniform, the suspended cop tried to bully the bodyguard Manoj Kumar.

The IAS officer called up Railway SP, DN Gautam, who rushed his men to the Danapur railway station to apprehend the guilty police men, who were in an inebriated state. Realising that he had locked horns with an IAS officer, the cop jumped from the running train before it could reach Danapur.
