Youth Cong unearths BJP's winter goodies

On Tuesday, members of the Bangalore City Youth Congress barged into a godown in Rajmahal Guttahalli where sweaters were stored. City Youth Congress President Manohar alleged that BJP leaders Krishnaiah Setty and Shobha Karandlaje had stored the sweaters to distribute to voters. He claimed to have found a piece of paper in which it was written that the sweaters should reach Tekal Zilla Panchayat in Malur.

Manohar said the sweaters were now in the police custody. He would file a complaint before the State Election Commission on Wednesday. Shobha Karandlaje denied the allegation saying: “I don’t know anything about sweaters stock. The Congress workers must have lost their senses.”
