Kargal police had registered a case against Suresh H Yallur under the IPC and the Arms Act and produced him before the JMFC, Sagar. The judge, however, deferred the hearing on the cop’s bail application by a day and remanded him in judicial custody.
As he heard the order, Suresh complained of chest pain and collapsed in the court hall. Following an application by the advocate for the accused, the court directed the police to take him to the Sagar government hospital.
