KDA to make submission before Madras HC

Speaking at consultative meeting with litterateurs and others on completion of one year in office on Tuesday, KDA Chairman Mukyamantri Chandru said the state will make a strong case through the advocate general before the Madras High Court to dismiss the petition.
A petitioner R Gandhi had filed a PIL before the high court challenging the decision of the Union government according classical language status to Kannada and Telugu.

He said there has been favourable response from the authorities to the newly established Law University to make Kannada language a compulsory paper for fourth semesters students.
