Joshi’s mother asked young Bhimsen to get raw mangos. Even after traversing the twin cities of Gadag and Betegeri, he couldn’t get the raw fruits.
Not wanting to disappoint his mother, he cycled all the way to Hubli, 55 km away to get what his mother wanted. His mother was dumbstruck to see her son beaming with the joy of delivering on his promise.
