According to the police, the staff received two calls between 11.30 am and 11.40 am informing that a bomb was planted in the office would go off any time. The police were immediately alerted.
A thorough search of the office with sniffer dogs and a bomb disposal squad revealed the call to be a hoax.
The Telugu-speaking pranksters made calls from a public telephone booth in Bommasandra, police added.
