Young performers light up the stage

Spread across two sessions, the glittering day began with Geethanjali Montessori putting up a scintillating performance of dances in the morning.

In the evening, the children of Geethanjali Vidyalaya presented another breathtaking series of dances and  drama.The classical dance by the girls of the school was an eye-opener on the talents in the school. Undoubtedly, the highlight of the day was a play put up by the senior students of the school based on George Bernard Shaw’s My Fair Lady.

Eliza Doolittle, Prof Higgins and Pickering provided an element of change to an otherwise dance-filled day. The well-organised event ended with children dancing to the tune of a Kannada patriotic song.

The evening saw the auditorium overflowing with parents, relatives and well-wishers of the children.
