Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Amit Bansal sought the detailed report on the probe into various corruption cases linked to the Games while hearing a joint plea by RTI activist Arvind Kejriwal, Swami Agnivesh, former IPS officer Kiran Bedi, Yoga guru Baba Ramdev and others.

"CBI is directed to submit further progress report on the next date of hearing," the court said after the heariing and adjourned it to April 30. The court also directed the SHO of Parliament Street police station to be present on next date of hearing.

The court sought the detailed status report on CBI probe, saying though it has no jurisdiction to order the probe by CBI, it has the legal mandate to ask the Delhi Police or Delhi government's Anti-Corruption Branch to probe the case.

The joint plea by Kejriwal and others had sought the court's direction to the probe agencies to investigate the matter and lodge an FIR in this regard. The petitioners had alleged that despite the massive corruption in CWG-related work, only four FIRs have been registered till date.
