“I feel the movie is the perfect debut for me. It feels really good to be part of Shah Rukh’s film. It’s a great thing,” said Zoa, who walked the ramp for designer Pallavi Mohan recently.

Directed by debutante Roshan Abbas, Always Kabhi Kabhi - produced by SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment - is based on the theme of high-school life.

About the film, Zoa said, “It is about children evolving from childhood to adolescence. It’s a very good and new theme. We are sure everyone would like it.”

The film will see four debutantes – producer Karim Morani’s daughter Zoa and Giselle Monteiro, who played Harleen alongside Saif Ali Khan in Love Aaj Kal, Satyajit Dubey and Ali Fazal.

Zoa is all set to take her plunge into films, armed with some words of advice from superstar Shah Rukh himself.

“I just remember that he told us that we must work hard and if we work hard and are true to ourselves and our work, then we will make God happy and eventually He will take care of everything.”

The film is an adaptation of a play Abbas had written and directed way back in 1999 called Graffiti about life in high school.
