*  Unboiled milk - 1/2 litre (approximately 4-5 cups)

*  Condensed milk  (Milkmaid) - 1 tin

*  Jelly (preferably strawberry flavour) - 1 packet

*  Custard powder - 4 tbsp (note tbsp and not tsp)

*  Ripe Mango, seedless grapes - quantity as per your choice

*  Vanilla essence - few drops

*  Pista essence - few drops

*  Green colour - pinch

*  Dried grapes, broken cashews, badam - few

Method

Set jelly and keep it in the fridge. Mix together the condensed milk and unboiled milk. Boil on low-medium flame. Dissolve custard powder in small quantity of milk and pour it into the milk when it begins to boil. Simmer gas for five minutes till mixture is thick. Then take off gas and cool for a while.

Now divide the quantity of the mixture into two by pouring it into two separate vessels. Add vanilla essence into the mixture in one vessel and pista essence with green colour into mixture in another vessel. Keep the two vessels in the freezer. After an hour, remove the two vessels, beat the contents separately in mixie and rest the two vessels again in freezer like before. After well set, break jelly into pieces and take out the two vessels.

How to serve

Take a tall glass. Pour jelly at the bottom. On top of it, place a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Then place finely cut pieces of mango and grapes. Next, place a scoop of pista ice cream.
Decorate with dried grapes, broken cashews and badam.

Serve with a long spoon.


Lime twister

*  Fresh lime juice

*  Dash of sugar syrup

*  Dash of lime syrup (optional)

*  Dash of mint juice

Combine all the above ingredients and top it up with soda for a refreshing summer drink.

Serve chilled.
