Lead bank releases loan scheme for 2011-12

In the annual meeting of the Lead Bank held on Tuesday, Bank Manager Arun Kulkarni informed about the plans for the next fiscal year.

He informed that the total project expenditure would be Rs 1474.67 crore. A sum of Rs 1350.52 crore has been fixed for the priority sector which is 21 per cent compared to the last.

The total amount of loan in the priority sector of the entire project in itself is 92 per cent. A sum of Rs 567.64 crore has been reserved for the provision of loan in agriculture sector. Chikmagalur has received maximum amount of loan with Rs 488.65 crore.
