Addressing media persons on Saturday, he informed that the Congress party leaders have visited the cabinet minister at Delhi several times and the Central Minister has responded positively. “When our delegation visited Vijnan Industries, we found that there were many loopholes in the industry. The labourers have not been granted allowances. Therefore, the Central government has to provide help to the industry so that quality product can be generated,” he said.
Speaking about the registration campaign of the Youth Congress, he said the campaign has been initiated in the district. The Congress Party leaders have nominated for 12 blocks in the district, he informed.
“The party workers are visiting the houses in the district and are listening to the grievances. The workers have been asked to involve in the party activities and we are receiving a good response from them. The selection process of booth level and Panchayat committee Presidents is going on in full swing,” he said and added that the Congress would support the growers who are fighting against the reduction silver tree prices.
