'Balanced diet, peace of mind must for patients'

Seer to hold Jaipur artificial limb camp twice a year

He was speaking after distributing artificial limbs to the selected 68 physically challenged persons at the Jaipur artificial limb distribution camp organised jointly by Jodhpur Institute, Karnataka Marvadi Yuvaka Sangha, Delhi-based Kesarichand Punamchand Seth Charitable Trust, Jain Mutt at Srikshetra Shravanabelagola in Channarayapatna taluk on Sunday.

The seer advised rich and business people to donate at least some part of their income towards the welfare of poor people. The mutt would hold Jodhpur artificial limbs distribution  camp twice a year- during Deepavali and Bhagawan Mahaveer Jayanthi celebrations, from next year.

ALCK president Singhvi said the Jain Associations had been giving ` 500 every month for the selected 200 patients suffering from kidney problems to undergo dialysis. Artificial limbs have been distributed to 40,000 persons.

Jodhpur Association President Padmaraj Mehta, Dr Manikyarao were present.
