<p>He was speaking at the valedictory of science exhibition organised for PUC students of Mysore Region at NIE Science College here on Wednesday.<br /><br />Dr Gurudutt called upon students to inculcate scientific spirit and temperament. <br /><br />He said that acquiring knowledge should be a lifelong process. <br /><br />He said that they should aim at building a better human society and benefits should reach a common man.<br /><br />College Education Department Joint Director Prof T N Prabhakar said that government colleges have been allotted ` 35 lakh each with the intention of encouraging science. <br /><br />He said that State Government is also giving CV Raman scholarship of ` 5,000 for students in order to promote pure science.</p>.<p>NIE Administrative Board Director H N Ramathirtha, NIE Science College Principal Prof Meena Shekar and others were present.</p>
