The world came crashing down on his parents at their BTM Layout residence here, as they received the news of their son’s death. Vishranth was recruited as a pilot 13 years ago. A lieutenant colonel, he was due for promotion as a commanding officer. Vishranth, from Coorg. is survived by his wife, Nayana and a 18-month old daughter.
Four Army personnel were found dead in Sikkim on Friday. The wreckage of their helicopter was found a day after it went missing, close to the Chinese border by a rescue team near the Yumthang valley, about 160 km northeast of state capital Gangtok.
