Common entrance test today

In Bangalore, nearly 31,000 candidates will take the examination across 58 centres, while 85,000 candidates will take the examination in 177 centres located outside Bangalore.

The Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu candidates was conducted on Tuesday.  This year, 478 Gadinadu and 723 Horanadu candidates appeared for the test.

Hall tickets

The Karnataka Examination Authority has informed that II PU students who have not received their hall tickets may download from http://kea.kar.nic.in by entering their application number.

Rashmi V,  Executive Director of Karnataka Examination Authority, said that it’s very important that parents don't pressure their children and make it entirely stress free for them. According to the students, only hard work and consistency can help them get a good rank.

Consistency counts

“I think hardwork, consistency, dedication and belief can get me a good rank” said Kalyani, a student.

Usha Holla, a student who does not believe in last minute preparations, said: “It’s best to start early and be consistent. I studied for 11 hours a day throughout the year and took three hours of break everyday to read Harry Potter.”

Exam timetable:

April 27:  10.30 am to 11.50 am (Biology), 2.30 pm to 3.50 pm (Mathematics)
April 28: 10.30 am to 11.50 am (Physics), 2.30 pm to 3.50 pm (Chemistry)
