The Rajya Sabha MP, wearing a yellowish green and red 'salwar suit', looked composed during the hearing and became a bit more cheerful after the special judge deferred the pronouncement of order on her bail by another six days.
She was accompanied by husband G Aravindan, DMK Parliamentary Party leader T R Baalu and her mother Rajathi Ammal who joined her after the court started the proceedings.
"Let's wait till May 20," she said when asked if the deferment of the court order on her bail plea has come as a breather to her.
She, however, refused to comment on DMK's drubbing in assembly at the hands of AIADMK led by J Jayalalithaa.
A number of DMK supporters, who came from Tamil Nadu, were inside the courtroom.
She was seen talking to former Telecom Minister and key accused in the 2G case A Raja in the courtroom.
Raja's wife M A Parameswari and their daughter also visited him in the court in the afternoon and they also exchanged pleasantries with Kanimozhi.
Raja had his daughter in his lap.
