This is an event that promotes better health and fitness among those who have stressful jobs. “We wanted people to get out of formals and become young boys again,” said one of the sponsors.

The first ever Corporate 5 event happened at namma Bengaluru. The grounds of National College was the venue. The event has grown manifold since then and is now expected to cater to a 50,000 plus audience in seven cities across the City. The first match is slated to begin on August 1 in Hyderabad with the National Finals scheduled to happen in Bangalore in November.
The corporates have signed on to play this interesting variation of football called Futsal, which roughly translates to indoor football. The format of this game is interesting. Each team has five players, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Usually played indoor, this game is just 30 minutes long.
Sagarika Ghatge, the Chak De girl who was present at the event, speaking about football said: “I’m not that much into football. If you ask me I won’t be able to tell you many names other than maybe Ronaldinho”. She laughed and continued: “But I’ve always been into sport, right from school. But I’m sure there are many people who are interested in sport and are promoting sport, who can take the support of people like me.”
Asked about her upcoming movies, she said: “Fox is releasing sometime in September and Raftaar will release in a month or two.” Talking about Bangalore, she said , “I really like this City. I used to come here for competitions at Bishop Cottons when I was in school.”
