Fashion designer ends life in Ulsoor

According to the police, Ruchi and her husband Prashanth Kumar from Bihar, stayed in flat number 105 in Kensington Apartments in Ulsoor. The couple, in their mid-30s, were married three years ago and had no children.

After a fight with his wife on Friday, Prashanth went to his friend’s house and returned on Monday to collect the charger of his laptop.

He grew suspicious when Ruchi didn’t turn up to open door and her cellphone was switched off.

He peeped through the kitchen window, and to his shock, found her body hanging. Prashant broke open the door to gain entry, police said.

In a death note, Ruchi wrote about troubles in domestic life that forced her to take the extreme step. Ruchi has not mentioned anything about harassment from Prashanth. Hence, police have considered the case as unnatural death.

Run over by train

A 30-year-old woman and her 18-month-old daughter were run over by a train in Sarjapura on Tuesday morning.

According to the Byappanahalli railway police, the identity of the dead is yet to be ascertained as the bodies were mutilated. The police suspect it to be a case of suicide due to poverty. The bodies were shifted to Bowring Hospital.
