Burglars broke into the house of Manjunath, an industrialist, at Sriramnagar, and made away with jewellery worth Rs five lakh and Rs 1.5 lakh in cash kept in an almirah.
Manjunath was away in HAL area when the theft occurred.
In the second incident, thieves broke into the house of Sudha located on the first main road in Yelahanka New Town, around 7 pm, and fled with 30 gram of gold jewellery and Rs 1.05 lakh in cash.
Sudha was away when the burglary took place.
