2 PU students commit suicide

Pushpalatha (17), daughter of Muniraju and a resident of Gangondanahalli third main came was upset after she failed to clear the exams. She went inside her room and hanged. The incident came to light when her parents returned home. She was a Commerce student in BSVP College, said police.

In Muniramaiah Block in RT Nagar, Asha (18) hanged self minutes after her parents and brother went out to a temple. Fear of poor performance in the exams drove her take the extreme step. She was a student of Sheshadripura College in Yelahanka. Hemanna, Asha’s father, is an employee in forest department, said the police.
