He also said that he had discussed the matter with the chief minister. Senior officials Shankar Bidari and Guruprasad have gone to court seeking inclusion of their names in the list.

The appointment of DGP and IGP of many states are with the Supreme Court and a decision will be taken only after the court’s decision.

‘Duel of truth’

The ‘Duel of truth’ between Chief Minster B S Yeddyurappa and former chief minster H D Kumaraswamy in Dharmastala is purely personal and the government has nothing to do with it, said Ashoka.

The constant accusation of corruption on the chief minister might have made him to take this step, he said

The opposition parties are accusing the government without any reason and they do not have the patience to wait for the decision of the court, said the home minister.

Calling the scheme  “ Congress nadige Janara Balige” of the Congress a directional less limp, he said that the ruling party was sympathetic towards the Congress for not being able to win even one election. He asked the Congress leaders to first handle  the members of the party who were protesting in Mysore and Kodagu and then go to the people.
