In its appeal before the KWDT, headed by Justice Brijesh Kumar, Karnataka counsel F S Nariman said that the Ministry of Water Resources should make its stand clear on issuing notification pertaining to the verdict of the tribunal.
The KWDT in its final verdict made allocation of 2598 tmc feet of Krishna river water among three states of Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
Nariman also wanted the Tribunal to issue clarification on 513 tmc feet of unallocated water in the Krishna river basin.
