Yeddyurappa on Saturday reiterated, this time at the BJP State executive meeting, that a high-level meeting of officers will be convened in the next couple of days to discuss the power situation in the State. “We will ensure there is no power shortage,” he said. He said additional power generating units with a capacity of 1,500 MW will be installed within the next few months. The government was confident of making the State power surplus in the next four years by adding 5,000 MW, he added.
