Senior advocate K K Venugopal told a Bench of Justices G S Singhvi and A K Ganguly that a number of persons, including corporate lobbyist Niira Radia and Live India news channel Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sudhir Chaudhary, have been examined in the case.

“The probe agency has nothing much except the complaint filed by the Enforcement Directorate official against journalists Upendra Rai and Subodh Jain,” he submitted.
Collecting evidence

The counsel also informed the apex court that the probe agency were investigating the case from all possible angles and were trying to collect evidence.

The Supreme Court had on May 6 issued contempt notices against Sahara chief Roy and two journalists for allegedly interfering with the 2G spectrum scam probe on a complaint filed by Enforcement Directorate officer Rajeshwar Singh.
