KRV protest

Activists of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike staged a protest and blocked the road, urging the government to declare taluk as the drought-hit, in Bagepalli on Monday.

Vehicular traffic was hit due to the blocked, for more than one hour. The protesters shouted anti-government slogans.

President of the Vedike Chandrashekar said, none of the MLAS representing the district have spoken on the drought at the Assembly Session which concluded recently. People of Kolar and Chikkaballapur are facing hardship as it had not rained in these regions.
