Celebrations of Basava jayanti on a grand scale

The programme was organised by Ayodhya Nagar Shivacharya Vaishya Nagartha Mandali.

Several poojas such as Maharudrabhisheka, sahasranama bilwarchane were conducted at the Nagareshwara temple on Ashoka Road in the town.

Several cultural programmes also marked the occasion. Veeragase, Nandi Dhwaja, Veerabhadra Nritya, Dakshabrahma Samvada, Karadi Majalu, Chittimela, Nadaswara and others were also performed by various artistes.
