JOIN USThe deceased has been identified as Krishna (40), resident of Upparageri, Periyapatna. It is said that victim Krishna had arrived at Bherya village at midnight and relaxed under a lorry that was parked on the road and was asleep. The driver, who was unaware that a person was sleeping under the vehicle started the lorry which ran over the head of Krishna, killing him instantly. K R Nagar Circle inspector Pavankumar arrived at the spot and interrogated. A case has been registered.
One dies of bee attack
One person was killed due to bee sting in Mandya taluk on Wednesday. Srinivas (35), a farmer by profession was the unfortunate victim. It is said that Srinivas was involved in agricultural activities in his land when a swarm of bees attacked him. The seriously injured Srinivas was immediately rushed to Mandya district hospital for treatment but he breathed his last in the hospital. Mandya rural police have registered a case.
