When the matter came up before the court on Friday, the counsel for the petitioner sought an adjournment stating that they would be furnishing an order related to the matter.
He submitted that a writ petition related to the case was rejected by a Bench headed by former Chief Justice P D Dinakaran.
Justice L Narayanaswamy, who heard the matter, adjourned it to September 15.
