9 students injured as school bus topples

All the injured had been admitted to Anekal Government hospital, Superintendent of Police D Prakash told PTI.

The bus was carrying 30 school chidren when the mishap occurred allegedly due to the negligence of the driver, who fled the scene immediately and is absconding.

A number of locals gathered at the spot and vociferously protested against the negligence of the driver.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Kumaraswamy rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
