<p>Khade blazed to the 100 freestyle gold in a new meet record time of 49.66 seconds in the boys’ Group A category. <br /><br />The Olympic swimmer erased the old mark of 50.31 stood in the name of Alaxander Skylar of Kazakhstan.<br /><br />The 18-year-old Khade had won the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly with championship records on the first two days of the meet.<br /><br />Gagan, who took the 800 freestyle on Monday in record time, stopped the clock in 16 minutes 10.90 seconds to pocket the Group B boys’ 1500 freestyle gold. <br /><br />In that process, Gagan erased the national record time of 16:12.28 set by Mandar Divase in the recent Rome World championship.<br /><br />The Indian 400M medley relay quartet of Rehan Poncha, Sandeep Sejwal, Khade and J Agnishwar clocked 3:50.05 to claim silver in the Group A boys’ category, behind Kazakhstan.<br /><br />Sandeep also claimed a bronze in the 200 breaststroke (Group A boys) in a time of 2:12.02, as did Fariha Zaman in the 50 backstroke (Group A girls) in 31.33 and Richa Mishra in the 400 individual medley (Group A girls) timing 5:05.72.<br /><br />Poncha was again off colour on Wednesday in the 400 IM, finishing fourth (4:29.89). While Aaron D’Souza ended fourth in 100 fly (Group B, 56.36), Madhavi Giri finished eighth in the corresponding girls’ event (1:08.17).</p>
