State offers to send teachers to Tanzania

A delegation headed by Seif Sharif Hamad, the first vice president of United Republic of Tanzania, met Primary and Secondary Education Minister Vishvesvara Hegde Kageri and officials of the education department on Saturday here.

According to a press note issued by the Kageri’s office, the visiting delegates were impressed with the education system followed in Karnataka. The officers of education department made a presentation to the visiting team on various aspects including Sarvashiksha Abhiyan, teachers recruitment and training methods.
