Igniting the inner 'Rebel'

Having completed the first schedule, the team is now getting ready to go to Delhi and then abroad to shoot for the remaining film. The movie is about a mother and son who rebel against the system of the country. “The main focus of the film is on all the hardships they face and how they overcome them. Keeping Aditya’s image in mind, I took up this topic and felt he would be able to carry it off with elan,” adds Rajendra Singh Babu. Though Preethika Rao has been signed on as one of the heroines, the crew is still looking out for another heroine. “Hopefully before we head abroad, we can finalise on who will be the second heroine of the film,” he says.

The film also stars Suhasini, Sudharani, Sadhu Kokila and others. The shooting of ‘Rebel’ is expected to get over by December and the film is slated to hit screens early January.
