From where are you?

Then the conversation takes a deeper note. We all try to find something common between us and those who seem to be nice to us. What we all often forget is that we are all united in the same one humanity whatever may be the language, culture or sub-culture to which one may belong. You may be a citizen of this or that country but if you are a human being then you are related to me. You may be of this or that religion or denomination but if you are truly a human being then you and I are one! 

But the fallen human being's tendency is to show that I am unique, I am special and not ordinary riff-raff of society. Some would boast of their economic status or their noble birth and say that they are connected great individuals and so unconsciously demand a greater respect. There are also some who would like to transform this into a financial or social gain.

God made all human beings with equal dignity but with different abilities, different IQs but none of these differences are meant to separate and divide people but the whole is to be one kaleidoscopic oneness working to the good of the whole. Just one note in the music makes it often to be monotonous and uninteresting if repeated ad nauseam but good music has many different notes, all united in a pleasing harmony.

One of the favourite past times of children is to boast about their father, uncle or elder brother or any other relative. You see I am better than you is what the child is trying to tell the other. While this may be tolerated in children it becomes nothing short of puerile reaction. When Jesus invited his listeners to be genuinely free and not be children of slavery to the evil one and to untruth, his Jewish opponents claimed Abraham as their father and said they were free as legitimate children. 

So from where are you? Should we not say we are from the hands of god who created our immortal souls at the very moment of our human conception?
