Addressing the media, chairperson of the task force, Ananth Hegde Ashisar said that the meet, to be held in 210 places, will be inaugurated by Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda at Teerthahalli on Novermber 23.
The objective is to make the voices of the forest dwellers reach the State government, while ensuring that the schemes drawn up in turn reached the beneficiaries.
The meetings will be held in assistance of forest department officials in Belgaum, Uttar Kannada, Shimoga, Chikkamagalur, Udupi, Hassan, Chamarajanagar, Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu districts.
