On November 19, Justice Ashok B Hinchegeri had directed KIADB to furnish to furnish details relating to disbursement of compensation for acquisition of lands at Bandikodigehalli village at Jala Hobli near Devanahalli.

B M Rangaswamy had moved the court seeking action against Katta and other KIADB officials for depriving him of the requisite compensation.

According to the petitioner, his father Magadiappa had applied for enhancement of compensation. However after Magadiappa's death, he came to know that compensation had been disbursed in favour of K Sowbhagya, wife of Katta Subramanya Naidu, on the production of a letter containing the thumb imperssion of Magadiappa, on March 5, 2008.

The petitioner had alleged that the thumb impression of his father was forged and KIADB officials had told him that the compensation had been disbursed at the instance of Naidu, who was then a minister.
