Benefit show

As part of  Manaranjani Foundation’s benefit show for Narayana Hrudaylaya Hospitals, a bharatanatyam recital will be presented by Madhuri Rao on August 10, 5 pm. There will also be Vaadya Vrindam comprising an instrumental ensemble by Archit Baskar, mridangam by Abhinav Seetharaman and violin by Apoorva Krishna, 5.30 pm and a grand finale of Carnatic vocal by Abhishek Rabhuram and team at 6.45 pm. The
venue is JSS Auditorium, Jayanagar.   

‘Arangetram’

Sisters Bhoomija and Supraja, disciples of MR Krishnamurthy, will be
presenting their arangetram on August 11, 6 pm at JSS Mahavidyapeetha in Jayanagar.
The sisters will be presenting their performance in Pandanallur style.

Book reading

The reading of ‘Five Movements in Praise’ by Sharmistha Mohanty will be held on August 10, 6.30 pm at Bangalore International Centre, Teri Complex, 4th Main, 2nd Cross, Domlur 2nd Stage. For details, call 9886599675.

‘Haridasarolirisu...’

Ananya is presenting ‘Haridasarolirisu – Series 2’ by vocalist TS Satyavathi on August 11, 6 pm at Ananya Sabhangana, 91/2, 4th Main, Malleswaram. She will be
accompanied by Sindhu Suchetan on the violin, Cheluvaraju on the mridangam and N Gurumurthy on the ghatam.

Eclectic style

‘F16s’ will be performing live at Phoenix Marketcity Courtyard, Whitefield, on August 10, 6 pm. It is a Chennai-based band which plays eclectic indie, mad garage rock etc.
