<p>Rockstar Ranbir Kapoor and Telugu star Ileana D’Cruz are believed to have delivered such an emotional performance in Anurag Basu’s much-awaited Barfee that it left many crew members teary-eyed. <br /><br /></p>.<p>“Certain emotional scenes between Ranbir and Ileana were so intense and beautifully performed that they left many of us and other members of the crew in tears,” said a source from the sets of the film. <br /><br />“We would all end up not engaging in too much conversation with each other even <br />after the scene would be completed as we would need some quiet alone time to get out of that emotional zone,” added the production insider.<br /><br />Ileana is a popular name in the southern film industry with films like Pokiri, Jalsa and ‘Kick’ to her credit. <br /><br />She will also be seen opposite Vijay in Nanban, the much-hyped Tamil remake of ‘3 Idiots’. <br />Barfee also features Priyanka Chopra. <br /><br />The film promises to be a powerhouse of strong performances with Ranbir playing a deaf and dumb character, Ileana's character of a translator that spans about 50 years and Priyanka playing the role of an autistic girl.<br /><br />A UTV Motion Pictures Production, the movie is expected to release in mid-2012.<br /></p>
