Opposition leader in the Assembly Siddaramaiah said here on Monday that it was wrong to include Bhagavad Gita in school curriculum.
Speaking to presspersons on the sidelines of the Congress convention here, he opposed the idea of forcing the Gita on students. “Schools should instill secular feeling among the students. I have great respect for Gita. However, one should not be made to study it forcibly,” he added.
