The Lokayukta Court here on Thursday posted to February 4 for orders on further course of action in a case alleging illegal land denotification by former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa in which the Lokayukta  police has completed its investigation.

Lokayukta judge N K Sudhindra Rao posted the case filed by advocate Sirajin Basha for orders on whether to issue "process or not", in the matter in which the Lokayukta police had submitted its inquiry report in October last year.

This is the first and the only case filed by Basha, out of the total five  filed by him against Yeddyurappa and his family members, in which probe had been ordered.

Yeddyurappa, his two sons, B Y Raghavendra, B Y Vijayendra, his son-in-law R N Sohan Kumar former Minister Krishnaiah Setty and M/S Dhavalagiri Properties are the main accused in the case which pertains to illegal denotification of government land in Rachenahalli and amalgamation of a public road on the outer ring road belonging to the Vyyalikaval House Building Cooperative Society, for pecuniary gain and resultant loss to the state exchequer.

Earlier, Judge Rao stated that he would like to have a look at the Jan 31 Karnataka High Court order dismissing the criminal petitions filed by Yeddyurappa seeking quashing of two such cases in which he had been issued summons on August 8 and was subsequently arrested and later released on bail.

To this, counsel for the complainant, Nitin submitted that he would furnish the order copy to the court tomorrow.
