A senior officer said: “There were neither fire extinguishers nor trained personnel to handle such cases.” <br /> <br />The owners were not available. None in the premises co-operated with the firemen. The fire department is unable to get information even a day after the incident, as nothing is clear about the ownership of the building, added the officer.<br /><br />Computers and other valuables were destroyed in the fire that engulfed the first floor of the building. Twenty-three fire tenders and a team of about 130 firefighters took hours to douse the fire.</p>
