<p>BJP ruled Karnataka today joined the anti-NCTC chorus with Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda attacking the Centre for 'imposing' its decision to operationalise the National Counter Terrorism Centre on the states without consulting them.<br /><br /></p>.<p>"The Centre is dictating to states. Such actions undermine the federal structure and also the democratic principles," he told reporters here.<br /><br />Gowda criticised the UPA Government for going ahead with its decision even after some states opposed it.<br /><br />Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Trinamool Congress chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, an ally of UPA, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and others have already opposed NCTC saying it usurped states' powers.</p>
